Com os alforges a transbordar, a bicicletas ficam muito mais pesadas e ganham uma dinâmica muito "própria",  as subidas tornam-se ainda mais "íngremes" e as descidas exigem maior controlo. Para além da vantagem óbvia, da travessia ficar muito mais em conta, há um aspecto puramente emocional que muito me condicionou na decisão, a possibilidade de conjugar duas palavras mágicas: BTT e autonomia. Claro que isto vale o que vale, quando ao fim do dia dormíamos nos parques de campismo com água quente!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Num paragrafo, foram 15 dias muito desafiantes de puro gozo e muito muito BTT. Através de estradões, ribeiros, single-tracks, pinhais, bosques de carvalhos, canyons, paisagens deslumbrantes e claro algum cimento e alcatrão, desde o mar Mediterrâneo (Llançá) até o oceano Atlântico (Hondarribia/Irun). Foram 15 etapas em que atravessamos diferentes regiões autónomas, Catalunha, Aragão e Navarra, com final no país Basco e com passagem em França. Pelo caminho, entre muito imagens, retenho as estâncias de esqui, as aldeias minúsculas com reduzida/nenhuma presença humana, as ribeiras cristalinas e claro, as muitas vaquinhas que pastavam nos lugares mais inóspitos dos Pirineus.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quase por fim, os números “secos” que não dizem quase nada, 1005km de extensão, 26000mt de ascensão acumulada e 102 horas gastas no total das etapas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quando a memória começar a sofrer a erosão do tempo, quando os nomes daquelas terras ficarem puídos e as imagens mais esbatidas, hei-de relembrar o companheirismo e a paciência do meu amigo Zé Pedro, que tornaram possível a Travessia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Há cinco anos atrás e desafiado por um amigo embarquei na aventura de ir fazer a Travessia do Pirinéus na Companhia do António Malvar. Era a minha primeira travessia e sem dúvida que foi um momento marcante na minha relação com o BTT, a sensação de satisfação e de realização ao olhar para um mapa e só nesse momento ter a noção do caminho já percorrido de bicicleta é única.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Foi de tal maneira fantástico que pouco depois de ter acabado a travessia já estava a pensar em repeti-la. Fui preparando o caminho com a compra do livro com a descrição do percurso e analisando as várias opções de quem tinha feito a travessia dos Pirinéus descritas na Net. Finamente no inicio de 2006, tomei a decisão de repetir a travessia e convidei alguns dos meus companheiros de BTT. Felizmente que o Jorge aceitou e embarcou no projecto com um entusiasmo que rapidamente ultrapassou o meu.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Comparando as duas travessias, já a dois meses de distância, a maior mudança é o avanço do alcatrão. Os trilhos principais ou foram asfaltados ou parecem estar em vias disso. Pelo contrário, há trilhos que estão num estado lastimoso que nem para travessias pedestres são indicados. Apesar de tudo o mais importante permanece: as subidas intermináveis com as montanhas como pano de fundo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O facto de irmos em autonomia e levarmos as bicicletas carregadas com alforges, tornou as subidas mais íngremes e as descidas mais alucinantes. No entanto a maior diferença é mesmo andar com a bicicleta à mão no meio da calhauzada. Se em condições normais já é penoso, com os alforges torna-se numa prova de perícia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Não posso terminar a minha reflexão sem agradecer ao Jorge a sua companhia e entusiasmo. Se não fosse ele não teria ido este ano e o seu entusiasmo contagiante ajudou-me a continuar nos momentos em que nos perguntamos “O que estou aqui a fazer?”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ZP&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Transportes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Decidimos partir do Porto e viajar de carro até Irun. Onde apanhámos um comboio nocturno até Barcelona e daí um comboio regional até Llança. O carro ficou os 15 dias em Irun à nossa espera e fizemos a viagem de regresso de carro. Foi uma boa opção e a melhor maneira de respeitar as restrições da Renfe ao transporte de bicicletas nos comboios de longo curso.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Mapas e Orientação&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Como base do percurso e para definição das etapas usámos o livro “La Travesía de los Pirineos en BTT” por Jordi Laparra da Editora Prames (www.prames.com). A orientação no caminho foi feita usando um GPS Garmin Etrex VistaC em que levámos os tracks carregados na memória de mapas do GPS. Conseguimos assim carregar todos os tracks antes da partida e evitar levar mais electrónica. A primeira metade do percurso foi feita com dois conjuntos de baterias recarregáveis que iam de casa, o resto com baterias descartáveis. Depois da maratona do dia anterior, tínhamos mais uma longa etapa com 80Km.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3  style="font-weight: normal; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;" class="post-title"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;O dia, ainda no camping, começou com alguns problemas nos suportes do porta-alforges do ZP que nos fizeram sair um pouco mais tarde do que o planeado. A primeira parte consistiu numa sequência de collados com inclinações brutais: No inicio em cimento e posteriormente em pistas muito difíceis. As descidas foram feitas por pistas com alguma lama entre arvoredos muito bonitos que estavam com um aspecto algo sombrio devido ao dia muito húmido e às neblinas. Quando chegámos a Etxalar no km 35, estávamos já cansados, a etapa estava a ser muito dura.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3  style="font-weight: normal; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;" class="post-title"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;A partir de Etxalar restava cumprir a última etapa até Hondarribia, que a julgar pelos números não nos impressionara: 1000mts de ascensão em 45Km.Puro engano! Os collados de Lizarreta e depois Venta Yasola e Poiriers mostraram ser talvez dos mais duros de toda a travessia, com abundância de rampas em cimento e trilhos com calhau onde foi preciso empurrar a bicicleta. As descidas foram sistematicamente feitas por trialeiras, que mesmo para caminhos pedestres era muito difíceis. Em particular a descida de venta Yasola. A travessia conforme o ZP previu foi muito desafiante mesmo até aos últimos kms.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3  style="font-weight: normal; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;" class="post-title"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Chegamos a Hondarribia para a foto na praia, o flash foi utilizado, bem significativo do adiantado do dia. A última etapa foi seguramente a mais dura de toda a travessia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O Último Dia! Já só falta etapa e meia para o fim.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3  style="font-weight: normal; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;" class="post-title"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Com a reparação aos alforges acabámos por sair tarde, já depois das 11hrs. Como me recordava, é uma etapa duríssima. Rampas muito inclinadas, descidas em trilhos impossíveis de fazer e um tempo muito húmido contribuíram para fazer desta etapa uma das mais duras de toda a travessia.A distância e uma cota máxima relativamente baixa, 800mts, escondem uma realidade bem diferente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;h3  style="font-weight: normal; font-family: arial;font-family:arial;" class="post-title"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Apesar de ser uma etapa em zonas habitadas, houve poucas hipóteses de abastecimento, as Ventas já estavam fechadas e a partir de certa altura queríamos mesmo era chegar ao fim ainda de dia. A parte final é em estradas muito movimentadas e eu tenho quase tanto medo dos condutores espanhóis como dos portugueses. Serviram as últimas duas das três barras que tinha levado como ração de emergência.  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;De acordo com o plano, a etapa 14 previa 1700mts de ascensão em 77Km até Roncesvalles. Por essa razão iniciámos o dia bem cedo. As primeiras Colladas: Laza e Ollokia, são vencidas em alcatrão. Depois entramos numa pista óptima que atravessa a floresta de Irati, a maior mancha florestal da Europa Ocidental, segundo os folhetos turisticos. Fazemos Kms e Kms de carvalhos. Durante todo o trajecto, graças à mentalização do dia anterior e à qualidade das pistas a média foi sempre muito elevada, 16km/h.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;Como chegámos a Roncesvalles com o sol bem alto, decidimos estender a etapa até Erratzu. Nesta nova solução comprimimos as última 3 etapas para dois dias e evitamos dois alojamentos em pensões. Assim, prosseguimos com uma ascensão para o Puerto de Ibañeta e depois o Collado de Lindux, este com umas rampas de cimento muito inclinadas.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;Seguiu-se uma descida de 20Km até Banca, já em território Francês. O Collado de Elorrieta proporcionou-nos umas rampas de cimento muito difíceis, em pouco menos de 8kms, subimos 550mts. A descida começou num belo prado por um caminho que em parte se confunde com uma linha de água, apesar de muito calhau foi transitável.&lt;br /&gt;Resultado,  112Km de belo BTT e 2.900mts de ascenção acumulada  ao 14º dia.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;JS&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;---&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;Sem dúvida o melhor dia até agora! Pistas muito rolantes, belas paisagens, clima ideal, a combinação perfeita. Chagámos tão cedo a Roncesvalles que decidimos continuar. O único senão foram os suportes dos alforges não terem aguentado, e ter acabado a etapa com o suporte solto.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;O ritmo foi de tal maneira que até parámos a meio da manhã para fazer um cházinho para mim e um café para o Jorge.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"  style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="" lang="PT"&gt;Em resumo: muito duro, muito acumulado e belas paisagens.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; A etapa começou com uma subida em alcatrão, quando chegámos ao topo saímos para um estradão no qual encontrámos uma rampas de respeito (que pela primeira vez me levaram a desmontar nesta travessia). Saímos para um trilho de pé-posto, uma trialeira com quilómetros de extensão, com muitas passagens muito difíceis.&lt;br /&gt;Assim que chegamos a Ansó, outra vila muito bonita e típica, onde fizemos um pequeno reforço alimentar. Nova subida para Zurisa e depois Puerto de Navarros, porta de entrada em Navarra, Aragão ficou para trás.&lt;br /&gt;A entrada em Navarra foi fantástica, mais um singletrack por entre as árvores que no seu final desemboca numa trialeira, que coincide com um fio de água seco, o difícil é manter-se em cima da bicicleta. O troço final é um estradão junto a um ribeiro.&lt;br /&gt;Em Isaba o camping fica a 6kms em direcção a França, decidimos dormir num albergue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esta etapa teve algumas partes muito técnicas, com muito calhau e pedra, que me obrigaram a desmontar o que fez com que demorássemos muito tempo. De resto nada a assinalar, exceptuando o belo vale Zurisa e a sua estrada de acesso ao longo do curso de um ribeiro numa garganta muito estreita, e o espantoso e técnico singletrack na entrada em Navarra. Acampámos num parque junto a uma estrada nacional com bastante movimento e razoavelmente perto de uma pedreira. O parque estava quase repleto de roulottes e casas pré-fabricadas. Perante isto há uma pergunta que não conseguimos responder: Quem é que quer ter uma segunda casa naquele local?&lt;br /&gt;As duas últimas etapas no seu conjunto foram muito duras em particular as descidas, com muita pedra solta, são um massacre para as articulações, músculos e para as bicicletas. No parque verifiquei que o pneu de trás, um belíssimo Larsen, está a babar-se todo e tinha um taco descolado!&lt;br /&gt;Resolvemos com supercola3 mas creio que está prestes a entregar a alma ao criador. Pelo seguro decidi comprar um pneu suplente em Sabiñánigo que para já no troquei. Era mesmo o que o meu alforge precisava: peso extra.&lt;br /&gt;Fazer algumas compras numa cidade foi uma experiência. Havia muitas pessoas e carros e tudo se movia muito rapidamente à minha volta!! O regresso à vida vai ser difícil.&lt;br /&gt;A etapa de hoje começou como já vem sendo hábito com uma bela ascensão num trilho com pedra solta, o final tinha umas rampas com uma inclinação muito forte, ou então são os músculos que já começaram a ceder.&lt;br /&gt;Mas o perfil da etapa não se limitava a uma ascensão e descida, a partir de hoje entramos num formato rompe-pernas, depois da prolongada e mais difícil subida aos 1500mts, fizemos 3 cumes consecutivos quase iguais em alcatrão.&lt;br /&gt;O final da etapa consistiu numa descida para o vale e posterior subida para Hecho sempre com vento de tal modo forte pela frente que mesmo para descer era preciso pedalar bem. Enfim, outra desafiante e gostosa etapa.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;Etapa 12, a etapa da crise. O fim está próximo e a etapa em si não tem grandes pontos de interesse. É daquelas partes a meio de uma viagem que só é feita porque fica no caminho e tem de ser feita para chegar ao fim.&lt;br /&gt;Como decidimos pernoitar em Hecho, ficou maior do que o previsto no livro. Decidimos também fazer a ligação de Jasa a Hecho por estrada, o caminho original tem uma parte muito grande de empurrar as bicicletas à mão depois de Aragués del Puerto que não acrescenta nada. Mesmo com o vento que estava foi bom ter um bocadinho para rolar e esticar as pernas.&lt;br /&gt;Na descida para Jasa a bicicleta do Jorge estava a fazer um barulho algo estranho, a pastilhas de trás estavam tão gastas de um lado que estavam a afiar o disco de trás. A aproveitámos a paragem em Jasa para trocar as pastilhas da frente para trás e meter umas novas atrás. A ascensão a Peña Outuria foi muito demorada, cerca de 30km, com as pistas bem marcadas, mas com alguma lama e água o que nos garantiu pés fresquinhos para toda a etapa, e também trialeiras difíceis, um parte do percurso coincidia com uma ribeira que trazia água.&lt;br /&gt;A parte final da ascensão era feita por um trilho entre pastos cheio de pedra solta a dificultar muito a progressão. A descida foi muito acentuada, desgastando muito os pneus e ciclistas, com muita, muita, pedra solta.&lt;br /&gt;A aproximação final a Aurin, fez-se pela estrada N-260, já uma velha conhecida.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;Mais uma etapa de maratona: começo com 30kms sempre a subir para irmos dos 800mts aos 1800mts; seguida de uma descida cheia de pedra solta que parecia o coelho das pilhas: dura, dura, dura... Em resumo uma etapa fenomenal!&lt;br /&gt;Na subida, ia caindo numa poça de lama e fiquei com o desviador e a corrente totalmente cobertos de uma lama fininha que fazia com que ouvisse um barulho de material a moer de arrepiar. Usei a água do bidão para fazer uma limpeza na corrente, mas o risco de chainsuck era uma constante.&lt;br /&gt;Fomos às compras a Sabiñánigo que o pneu detrás do Jorge tem um taco colado com super cola e eu não paro de coçar as picadelas de ontem. Havia tanta gente e carros nas ruas que não descansei enquanto não fugimos para a paz relativa do Camping. Estavam hospedados algumas dezenas de pessoas com deficiências mentais e em cada refeição havia lugar à distribuição de envelopes com a medicação para cada doente. Um cenário que fazia lembrar o filme "Voando sobre um ninho de cucos". &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A pousada ficou mais cara do que esperávamos, afinal o preço era por pessoa e não por quarto.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A etapa começou em estrada até à localidade de Senz com forte inclinações a que se seguem pistas com passagens com muita pedra. O ataque final ao Collado do Cullibert foi feito com umas rampas íngremes e com muita pedra solta, de difícil progressão. A descida foi feita uma pista em “S” sucessivos até à localidade de Escalona com paragem em La Espuña para um revigorante café. A partir de Escalona entrámos numa estrada de sentido único que segue ao longo do Estrecho d’as Cambras e que dá acesso ao Cañón de Añisclo, Verdadeiramente fantástico!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A partir do parque de estacionamento a subida para Fanlo é feita em alcatrão com algum sobe e desce e uma parte final bem dura em zig-zag. A partir de Fanlo descemos quase 30kms até Fiscal onde acabámos. Esta etapa foi particularmente dura, quer pela extensão, quer pelas ascensões, quer pelo estado das pistas percorridas na primeira parte da etapa. Puro BTT!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Provavelmente a etapa mais dura até agora! 85Km, duas colladas valentes, muito calhau e subidas bem íngremes.&lt;br /&gt;Contrariamente ao previsto acabámos por sair tarde, andámos à procura da chave da corrente das biclas e já quando estávamos a pensar onde íamos arranjar um alicate corta-arame, o Jorge consegui abrir o cadeado com o corta unhas! A minha fé nas fechaduras levou mais um rombo...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Na subida para o Collado do Cullibert fui picado uma mosca de burro nas costas, tenho uma comichão que não lembra. Mesmo depois de acabar ainda tenho os miolos a chocalhar da descida para Escalona e da calhauzada. As diferenças em termos de paisagem já se fazem sentir. O solo alterna entre a argila vermelha e os trilhos com muita pedra nos quais a locomoção é bastante difícil. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Após conclusão de metade da travessia, começo a sentir algum cansaço muscular, mas estou confiante na conclusão. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No dia de hoje começamos com uma rampa em alcatrão após o que entrámos em trilhos muito difíceis, com muito calhau solto, mesmo muito exigentes, até à localidade de Bonansa. Descemos em estrada e recomeçámos a subir até aos 1610mts entre pisos aceitáveis e outros mesmo maus. A descida seguinte alternou também entre trilhos bons, troços mais exigentes e também algumas rampas a subir que exigem alterações de ritmo que conduziram a uma etapa do estilo rompe-pernas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Em Campo não existem Campings públicos, apenas dois privados aos quais não temos acesso. Optámos pela pousada da juventude local, muito catita por sinal.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amanhã teremos uma etapa difícil, vamos começar bem cedo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bem-vindo a Aragão! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bem-vindo ao Calhau! &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hoje entrámos em Aragão, com uma etapa fantástica. Foi mesmo muito bonita, com umas subidas e descidas cheias de calhau solto a exigir que déssemos o nosso melhor. Saímos muito tarde porque quisemos aproveitar o sol para secar a roupa. Às 8hrs estava um frio desgraçado e a roupa que tinha ficado estendida estava toda ensopada da humidade que caiu durante a noite. Para ajudar à festa, dei cabo da bomba e ainda tivemos de ir à procura de uma loja para comprar uma nova. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Acabámos por vir dormir a um albergue onde estava alojado um grupo de doentes mentais. Deve ter sido das situações mais estranhas em que alguma vez estive.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tive a primeira avaria, parti a corrente. Ficou mesmo curta que já a tinha partido em Portugal. No final entramos num caminho pedestre em que alternamos entre uma condução muito difícil na bicicleta e o andar a pé a empurra-la. Depois da descida foi necessário trocar as pastilhas dos meus travões e começou a chover.&lt;br /&gt;Seguiu-se uma subida para as localidades de Sentis e Sas, ambas aparentemente abandonadas, como muitos outros locais nos Pirinéus por onde temos passado. Finalmente uma subida num estradão cheio de cascalho difícil de subir e de descer.&lt;br /&gt;Fomos dormir  a um camping for a de Pont de Suert que parecia estar em autogestão.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;Ontem mais uma vez fomos os primeiros a jantar no restaurante. Eram 8hrs e ainda não estava lá ninguém. O povoado onde dormimos ficava num vale tão profundo que o sol só despontou à hora da nossa saída. Para além da rampa logo no início a grande dificuldade do dia foi a brita na subida depois de Sas.  &lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Depois de uma noite em que os Pirinéus nos ofereceram uma tempestade, com muita chuva e relâmpagos. Precisámos de uma boa parte da manhã para lavar e organizar os alforges visto que tanta chuva fez alguns estragos. &lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A etapa propriamente dita foi feita de um só fôlego porque temíamos ser surpreendidos por uma tempestade na montanha. Começámos com uma ascensão de 40Km, em que rodámos muitos quilómetros acima dos 2000mts. Infelizmente o nevoeiro muito intenso não nos permitiu apreciar as vistas. No final uma descida alucinante até Torre de Cabdella, tão extensa que fiquei com os pés dormentes. A humidade durante a etapa foi muito elevada.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mais um dia, mais uma montanha e esta foi especialmente complicada. Com a trovoada que caiu durante a noite, demorámos muito tempo a sair pois estivemos à espera para ver o que o tempo dava. Ser apanhado a mais de 2000mts por uma trovoada não é nada positivo… Mesmo assim fizemos um bom tempo, sem paragens para comer, com frio, nevoeiro e vento, foi uma etapa bem dura. &lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amanhã promete ser mais fácil, mas nos Pirinéus o fácil é sempre complicado.&lt;/span&gt; portugueses, discutia com a russa no piso de cima.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A etapa  propriamente dita foi composta por uma ascensão extensa com 28km, até&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; uma  estância de esqui de fundo nos 1700mts. A descida foi simples e bonita&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; entre  os nossos já conhecidos pinhais. A parte final da descida tinha muita&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; pedra  solta o que exigiu alguma atenção.&lt;br /&gt;Em Llavorsi, capital da águas bravas &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;do  Pirineus, caem uns pingos de chuva apesar do calor, espero que não &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;signifique  alteração do tempo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Depois de um belo jantar e de uma noite bem dormida, a vontade de pedalar não falta. O pequeno almoço foi sofrível, com os donos da “pensão” aos berros em espanhol no andar de cima. Muito estranho mesmo! Senti-me bem e a etapa correu bem. É bom pedalar em sítios conhecidos. Estive nesta zona há dois anos na passagem de ano, na altura com raquetes no meio da neve. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A descida final foi de tal maneira alucinante que fiquei todo abananado. Finalmente sinto-me em forma para levar isto até ao fim! Vamos só ver como o tempo se aguenta. O dia começou com uma ascensão acima dos 2000mts, seguida de uma descida em partes muito técnica pois coincidia com o leito, temporariamente seco, de uma ribeira. Outras partes decorreram por estradões ladeados de pinhais fantásticos, embora "banais" nos Pirinéus. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Durante a etapa cruzamos localidades minúsculas, algumas abandonadas. A segunda subida do dia foi feita em ritmo de competição, deu-me um gozo imenso mas sei que isso vai custar caro mais tarde. A descida foi novamente exigente devido ao piso com muita pedra solta. Enfim, mais uma etapa "banal". &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Infelizmente, pela primeira vez não foi possível dormir num parque de campismo. Dormimos numa pensão gerida por um belga e uma russa na estrada principal que liga a Lérida a Andorra. O trânsito é muito intenso. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mais um grande dia nos Pirinéus, a primeira subida do dia começou em alcatrão e a meio passou a pista. Com algumas paragens pelo meio lá cheguei ao topo, o Coll de Torn com um prado cheio de vaquinhas a pastar. Fizemos de seguida uma descida alucinante no meio dos calhaus. As dúvidas sobre a resistência dos alforges já estão dissipadas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Na última subida o joelho ressentiu-se da tareia na descida anterior e tive de subir devagarinho.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;O sítio onde íamos dormir, um hotel restaurante isolado à beira de estrada, estava fechado, andámos aos papeis e acabámos por ir parar a Adrall a uns quadros de um Belga e de uma Russa, irreal! Começámos com uma ascensão por alcatrão até à Collada de Toses após o que enveredamos por um estradão de montanha com paisagens soberbas: pinhais, prados com as vaquinhas da praxe e tudo o mais. Depois subimos até à estação de esqui de La Molina. É algo muito estranho, uma pista, temporariamente, abandonada no Verão! Depois veio uma descida muito íngreme pela pista de esqui que desembocou num singletrack lindo e técnico, com uma ribeirinha do nosso lado direito e muitas raízes à superfície. Como a seguir a uma descida vem quase sempre uma subida, hoje não foi excepção, ascendemos de novo até aos 2100mts com um troço de 2 ou 3km com pendentes muito acentuadas e pedra solta. Foi muito exigente. A descida reservou-nos o melhor do dia. Com um inicio bastante frio, descemos por caminhos de montanha lindos, com uma série de maciços rochosos, pinhais e montanhas como pano de fundo. Numa palavra: Inolvidável!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grande etapa! Duas subidas valentes, cada uma acima dos 2000mts. Foi mesmo muito bom! Descida de uma pista de esqui com 5Km seguida de um singletrack fabuloso. Vista do outro lado do monte a pista não é menos impressionante!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Os alforges aguentaram o tratamento e já acredito que vão chegar ao fim. Na primeira ascensão subimos aos 2050m. Na segunda tivemos um troço de 2,5Km muito duro em cimento que nos levou a Vilamanya, um pueblo com 2 casas e um estábulo. O traçado foi quase exclusivamente em terra em estradões de montanha. Vistas fantásticas de cortar a respiração. Ao contrário do esperado a etapa correu sem dificuldades de maior embora as ascensões sejam realizadas ao ritmo de caracol, os alforges não ajudam.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Correu melhor do que esperava, pelo que vinha na descrição da etapa, estava à espera de bem pior. Cá vamos gerindo a crise e subindo devagarinho. Depois de concluída a etapa estou mais confiante que vou conseguir chegar ao fim. A parte mais chata foi mesmo o caminho ter sido alterado e termos andado aos papeis. Quase no fim da primeira descida do dia o trilho estava meio manhoso, fiquei a olhar para o GPS, o Jorge arrancou monte abaixo, fui ter com ele lá abaixo e voltámos a subir. Quando chegámos novamente lá acima estava uma placa a indicar que era para descer. Lá foram mais 5Km, no gráfico de altimetria é a pequena subida a meio da etapa. O trajecto é simples, à excepção da parte final da subida ao Coll de Riu a exigir alguma técnica. Grande parte do caminho é realizada por estradas de montanha em alcatrão ou cimento. Na ascensão final, feita em serrote o Coll de Carreres e a collada de Sant Pau foram algo exigentes devido às temperaturas elevadas.&lt;br /&gt;Os abastecimentos funcionaram bem. Tanto mais que um grupo de ciclistas com quem nos cruzamos estava a lamentar-se pois dois pontos de abastecimento com que estavam a contar estavam fechados.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;JS&lt;br /&gt;---&lt;br /&gt;A&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt; dureza continua, calor e rampas pirenaicas. Mais de 2.000m de subida acumulada em 77Km é obra. O pior é mesmo estar quase tudo asfaltado ou cimentado. Mesmo assim custou menos do que ontem. Cruzamos algumas paisagens muito bonitas, como a zona húmida junto à ponte sobre o rio Arnera. Curiosidade: Nas estradas são utilizados rails revestidos com troncos de árvores. Início de etapa com algum calor (32ºC), depois passou a fazer algum vento e refrescou. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;A vila onde jantámos tem um casco histórico muito bonito.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" class="MsoPlainText"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"  lang="PT" &gt;&lt;o:p&gt;JS&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"  lang="PT" &gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A viagem correu bem, a etapa é que foi muito mais dura do que eu me lembrava. Temo e pensar no que aí vem, vamos ver como corre. A logística da comida foi um pesadelo, só às 15hrs é que comemos qualquer coisa e cheguei ao fim sem água. Os alforges parecem alguém a puxar a bike nas subidas.
